No tracing paper is required to do neck design work.Stitches used to do neck design work are chain stitch and load stitch. After working the chain stitch and load stitch ,stick pink color drop shape kundans around the neckline. Then sew the zardosi around the drop shape kundans and fill the gaps in the middle with beads. Border design stitched around the neckline should also be stitched as a border to the sleeves.Once the peacock design is printed on the fabric you can start filling the design like as shown in the video given on my youtube channel shanthi's creative corner. Please check my channel for this work.

Stitches used in this peacock aari work design are:

Stitches used in this peacock aari work are

  • Chain Stitch
  • Bead Work
  • Satin Stitch
  • Load Stitch
You can do all these stitches using normal needle.

Satin stitch:

First bring your needle up through the back of the fabric on one side and then going down into the fabric on the other side.
continue stitching in the same manner, until you cover the shape being filled. Make sure the stitches must be side by side. Do not leave any gap in between the stitches.

Load Stitch:

Load stitch is also called as a padded satin stitch.Stem stitch, chain stitch, dori thread, piping thread or something else under the satin stitch create the padding / load.
first fill the inside of the design area with your chosen stitch or with piping thread for padding. Then work the satin stitch over the padding stitches or on the piping thread. First bring your needle up through the back of the fabric at starting point over the piping thread then take it down straight across to the opposite side of the piping thread. Here the stitches must be in cross direction.continue stitching in the same manner, repeating the steps above and making stitches side by side on top of the piping thread until you reach the end of the piping thread.
