It's really a very simple and cute design. This all over butta design will look great after work is completed. You can put this design as a buttas in the middle for blouse sleeves, sarees, and dresses. I only used different colors anchor cotton threads and 3 mm gold beads to do this work. The stitches used in this work are chain stitch, clove stitch, lazy daisy stitch and mirror stitch. If you don't like to use gold beads then you can skip this and use only threads to work this design.

After tracing the all over butta design on the fabric please check my you tube channel silver knots for how to fill this work.

Stitches used in this all over butta design :

Stitches used in this all over butta design are

  • Mirror Stitch
  • Lazy daisy Stitch
  • Back Stitch
  • Whipped back stitch
  • Satin Stitch

Lazy daisy stitch:

To do a lazy Daisy stitch, first bring your needle up through the pointed end of your shape and then take your needle and go back down through that same hole that you just came up through. Before pulling this thread completely down, again you have to bring your needle up through the end of the curved shape and then make sure it goes to the inside of this thread loop. Here don't pull the thread too tight because you want to make sure that it has that teardrop shape. and then again pull the needle back just a little bit forward from the hole that you just came out of to secure the end of that teardrop shape.

Back stitch:

For the back stitch you want to bring your thread up from the back of the fabric and then we have to go one stitch length forward and go back down through the fabric. Then we're going to skip a stitch length and bring our needle  up through the back again. Now we have to come back down through the hole that you previously went up in the last stitch. Then move forward a stitch length coming in from the back again and then move backwards and bring your needle back down into the same hole from that last stitch. Continue the same process till the end of the line.
